Welcome to the Arlington Soap Box Derby! On this local Race City site, get all the details about Arlington's Soap Box Derby Club. We hold an annual local race every June on Eastern Avenue in Arlington (next to Robbins Farm Park). Through out the year we also hold regional soap box derby rally races at the Cambridgeside Mall. We are committed to supporting children and their families in learning about and participating in soapbox derby. Our club had cars to rent to families can try the activity and hold periodic car clinics to learn more about building, tuning, and racing soap box derby cars. The Arlington Soap Box Derby is a community based nonprofit organization whose mission is to build knowledge and character, and to create meaningful experiences through collaboration and fair and honest competition.
